MICRO’s GUIDELINES & PROTOCOLS

 

ENHANCED MEASURES WE ARE TAKING

  • We will continue to screen Patients and Therapist

  • Anyone who reports signs and symptoms of communicable disease such as fever and/or chills, recent onset of coughing, diarrhea, breathing discomfort, or has a temperature of over 37.8 degrees Celsius will be asked to stay at home (staff) or rescheduled (clients), and asked to contact their physician immediately.

  • Our Practitioner will be wearing personal protective equipment as per recommended guidelines of PHO, RMTBC, CMTBC, WSBC to minimize any exposure and will be changing their PPE for each appointment.

  • We will be sanitizing and cleaning in between each appointment using medical grade disinfectants from the Health Canada list of approved hard surface disinfectants for the cleaning process.

  • We will aim to stagger appointment times to limit interactions with other clients. This may affect the start time to previously booked appointments.

  • To encourage Contactless payment payments occur in the treatment room with a wireless point of sale system or e-transfer can be arranged to info@microwellness.ca or online payment can be done through your Account on the Janeapp

 

ADDITIONAL MEASURES:

  • Additional time is added between each appointment to allow the Practitioner to thoroughly sanitize their treatment room and all needed surfaces after every appointment.

  • As always, your Practitioner will be practicing proper hygiene and will be washing their hands to elbows thoroughly, frequently and throughout the day.

  • Your Practitioner will conduct self-monitoring for symptoms prior to each shift, should they seek further care;

    • The Practitioner will contact the local Public Health Authority and owner should there be a confirmed or suspected case

    • Patients will be contacted immediately if their Practitioner are experiencing any symptoms

    • Those who are symptomatic and/or have been advised by Public Health to self-isolate, will remain home and not enter the premises and patients will be notified.

 

In the current environment of COVID-19 kindly understand, if at any point during your appointment your Practitioner feels their health could be compromised or endangered, they have the right to refuse service.
